G'day I'm Gavin, the new owner (since August 2024) of the friendly caravan park in Longreach, Outback Queensland. I might be new to this, but I’m no stranger to the warm, welcoming spirit of the outback. In fact I lived in Longreach 50 years ago. “Friendliness and cleanliness” is my motto. I have bought the caravan park with the goal to make it sparkle, and turn it into a place where you feel right at home.
At the park, it is all about the simple pleasures, -being greeted and shown to your site and cabin and the kind of friendly atmosphere that feels more like visiting family than just checking into a caravan or cabin park. I am all about creating a space where everyone’s welcome, including your four legged friends.
So come on in, make yourself at home . I can’t wait to meet you.

One of the things that makes our park special is our Happy Hour. It’s a chance to relax, meet other travelers, swap stories from the road and make new friends.
Longreach caravan park is a convenient spot to stay if you have a Motorhome as town is walking distance. Facilities are clean but older style. Great shower heads with plenty of water. Opportunity to meet other travelers with Happy hour and manager Greg and Kim helpful and friendly. Non grass sites but to be expected. Some concrete slabs available and more to come as being renovate by family business. Busy park so book ahead. Spaces are small but park is being updated so I can imagine in future it will be in even higher demand. Hints : Book ahead to secure your space and remember to say if you have a slide out. Dogs welcome so awesome stay! Cheers

Such a great little caravan park not to far from town, foodworks within walking distance for those little things you need. The onsite owner (Gavin) and manager/cleaner Trish are the most friendliest people we have come across on our travels. This is not one of those "flash" caravan parks if that's what your looking for but it has everything you need and its a quiet, safe and friendly spot. Amenities are older style but are spotless. Thank you for a lovely stay.
